Ohio Health Neuroscience Wellness Center

Neuroscience Wellness Center

bringing a sense of calm

The Neuroscience Wellness Center provides patients with access to comprehensive care with a focus on the mind, body and spirit.
Following the environmentally-focused design that architect, Gensler, (Chicago-based architect) established, we helped bring the interior space to life through an understated design approach. Utilizing nature photography, thoughtful lighting within the understated design, donors were recognized while bringing a sense of calm to its members.

The System’s ever-growing acquisition and expansion of hospitals resulted in disparate donor recognition, lack of consistency, and left the Foundation’s brand at risk. Serving as strategic ally, we developed an overall strategy for a consistent, cost-effective approach across their system, including an audit of existing recognition, look-and-feel development, and guidelines with protocols to ensure consistency of future recognition.

Keeping it Native

Appalachian State began their endeavor on constructing the University’s largest building to date. Located in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina and Boone Creek, there was a strong aspiration for a design that incorporated the University’s surround.

By chance, there were a few historic trees that needed cut down as they were no longer deemed safe. The trees, located about 25 miles from campus, were cut down and the live cut slabs were then shipped to Eleven Fifty Seven to be incorporated within the display. River rock was also incorporated into the design, which emphasized a general flow of the local Creek’s pattern. These native elements resulted in a stunning combination elevating the facility and its recognition.

Athletic Hall of Fame

athletics hall of fame

As the new Athletics Center was being constructed, there was a strong desire to create a home for their Athletics Hall of Fame, which currently existed only on the School’s website. During the discovery phase, the teams uncovered previously unconsidered opportunities to consider in addition to recognizing athletic excellence.

The end result is the feature wall as you enter the building that tells the historical story of the athletics program, strong branding, recognition of honorees, and the ability to use as a recruitment tool for prospective students and their parents. Utilizing a combination of cost effective and easy to update transparency inserts with dynamic video/audio/text storytelling capabilities with interactive touchscreen, we have an impressive visual that is sure to deepen the bond between the stakeholders and the institution.

The Journey Starts Here

East Texas Food Bank was in need to create a dynamic, yet functional facility to grow volunteer membership due to the community’s increased demand. Eleven Fifty Seven helped further their mission through a design + build + install approach creating an engaging brand experience in their Tyler, Texas facility.

The design approach was to tell the story of the Foodbank’s processes, facts about hunger and how their volunteers are essential for their mission. The Journey Starts Here ideation is told through the genuine photography style and large graphic messaging. In addition, floor decals act as the tour path guiding visitors through the facility.

Tailored towards you

Utilizing a curved twenty-five-foot tall wall, a functional yet unique design was created to recognize donors contributing to the future of medicine. A striking artistic rendition of DNA helixes is paired with mirrored recognition pieces.

The viewer will see a reflection of themselves- the future of personalized health care begins with our own DNA. That same reflection emphasizes the individuals that philanthropically push forward the field of medicine and that treatment will be tailored specific to them.

Athletic Fieldhouse

a renewed sense of excitement and energy

A tragic fire at Campbellsville’s Athletic Facility proved to be a total loss, requiring the University to start from the ground up. Wanting to give the staff and athletes a renewed sense of excitement and energy, Eleven Fifty Seven created a custom branded environment throughout the new facility.

The University’s athletic accomplishments and donors were recognized through combining conventional recognition signage, graphics and digital interactive platforms. Strong communication between Eleven Fifty Seven and the Campbellsville teams allowed for dynamic alterations to be made to the conceptual renderings.

Matching the Aesthetic

The East Alabama Medical Center Cancer Center prides itself on using the latest in cancer diagnostic and treatment technology, providing both compassionate and supportive care. Having outgrown its previous building, the medical center needed to expand its space and move into a new, updated facility, resulting in the construction of the 59,000 square foot Spencer Cancer Center.

Our creative team worked closely with both the EAMC Foundation and architect, TRO Jung|Brannen, to match the planned design aesthetic. As a result, we were able to meet the hospital’s specific donor recognition needs with a grand display matching the look of the new Spencer Cancer Center.
